Step by Step Potato Chila
recipe:
- Wash
the potatoes thoroughly and peel them. Soak the potatoes in water, so that it
shouldn’t turn brown.
- Pre heat the skillet over medium flame.
- Grate the potatoes and add lemon juice, salt, chopped green chili, roasted jeera and coriander leaves.
- When the skillet is sufficiently hot add ½ tsp oil on it. Now place the potato mixture over it and spread evenly in 4-5 inch round chila with ½ cm thickness.
- Pour some drops of oil around the chila and cover it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
- By now the chila would have turned slightly brown from the bottom. Flip the side and roast the chila from other side as well until it gets little brown in color.
- When the potato chila is roasted from both sides, take it on a plate and likewise prepare rest of the chila.
- Serve hot and crispy potato chila with vrat chutney.
