Yummy delight for u…
From one food lover to another.
A vegetarian food blog featuring variety of food recipes from around the world.

This food blog offers a complete collection of recipes for all tastes and occasions. Whether you want a quick and easy meal or a complete dinner, it contains everything you need, right from appetizers n drinks, cakes n bakes, to capture the flavor of World.

I never entered the kitchen (for cooking), while I grew up with family, as I was content to eat lip smacking stuff made by everybody from grandmother to mom and auntsJ. But I would stand and watch, ask questions, as my grandmother and mom prepared meals. The chopping and churning, boiling and frying going on alongside began to draw me in. Once in a while, whenever I innovatively tried cooking anything at home, the result was always yummy!!! However cooking was never an everyday task for me till I began to work.

When I began working, I, my sister and a friend shared an apartment. We use to cook together and then my journey to kitchen started. Exchanging tips with friends, reading recipe books and of course telephonic recipe notes from mom and experience has helped. My early cooking had influences of all. It’s been years since then, cooking has become one of my favorite past times. I am a native of India and currently residing in New Jersey with my husband and two beautiful daughters. I am a doctor by profession, but took a career break to be a full time mother.

I started writing the blog as a hobby. Right now I am working to document my family recipes first and later will move on to add various other regional and international recipes.

India is a land of diversities, which is well portrayed in its culture and cuisine. A land where taste changes at every 100 kms. Hence, it has a wide spectrum of food.
Here I bring you recipes that can be easily made at home. The recipes are easy to understand and follow as we have pictorial format of recipes. All the recipes are in step by step format and are tried and tested in our kitchen.
On most days my meals are simple, vegetarian and quick. That’s what I talk about in this space.

Hope you enjoy reading them and trying as much as I enjoyed cooking and writing about them.
