Strawberries
always taste so fresh and light, but when you add oatmeal to a smoothie it is
immediately a hearty meal.
This
smoothie is so refreshing and healthy that it recharges your energy levels. It can even be served as a breakfast beverage. It is also good for kids.
You could add other berries along with it or even some nuts. If the strawberries are sweet then it’s best to avoid adding in sugar.
I
keep it super simple for this smoothie. Talk about a quick smoothie 45 seconds
later, you’re eating breakfast. BOOM!
Step by step Strawberry
and oatmeal smoothie recipe:
- First rinse the strawberries and then drain them.
- Slice off the green leafy part from all the strawberries; this is also called as hulling. Then chop the strawberries.
- Add the yogurt and chopped strawberries to a blender jar.
- Add oatmeal and sugar as required to it. If the strawberries are very sweet, then you don’t need to add any sugar.
- Pour in milk and blend till smooth.
- Pour in glasses and serve the strawberry smoothie immediately.
Since
strawberries are in season, you can also make few more strawberries recipes
like strawberry jam, strawberry cream cake and strawberry short cake. I will
keep updating the recipes soon.
